A key carries your subscription; anyone with it can read the API as you. Only a hash is stored — if a key is lost, revoke it on the members API page and make a new one. Keys are shown once, at creation.
The trailing 24 months is what the API serves. For everything since 2019 there is the one-time data archive — gzipped CSV and a build script that produces an indexed SQLite database in about two minutes — and an MCP server so Claude, Cursor or any MCP-aware assistant can query it directly.
All seven tools, the full two-year feed, the JSON API and email alerts, refreshed every morning. A free quarterly sample of the dataset needs no account.
See plansFree sampleYes. Members get keyed access to /filings, /clusters and /sentiment at insiderfilingsdata.com/api/v1, returning the same open-market buys, $1M+ sells and scored clusters the members pages show.
With an API key in the x-api-key header. Keys are created and revoked on the members API page; only a hash is stored.
The trailing 24 months of filings and clusters, and the full weekly sentiment series since 2019. The full seven-year history is in the one-time data archive.
It is rebuilt every morning from the previous business day's SEC filings, at the same time as the site.
