Email alerts: one email the morning after a filing you care about

GuideNumbers as of 2026-10-14

Get one email the morning after a filing you care about lands. The alerts check the new filings and clusters after the daily refresh and only write to you when something you asked for actually happened — no daily "nothing to report".

What you can watch

When it arrives

The SEC publishes Form 4 filings through about 10 pm Eastern. The site refreshes early the next morning, and the alert run happens after the deploy so the email links to the live page with today's filings and clusters on it. One email per morning, covering everything that matched.

Programmatic instead?

The same buys, sells and clusters are available as JSON through the members API, so a script can do what the email does, on your schedule, with your own rules.

Included in the $29/month membership

All seven tools, the full two-year feed, the JSON API and email alerts, refreshed every morning. A free quarterly sample of the dataset needs no account.

Questions this post answers

How do insider trading email alerts work?

Members pick tickers, insider names and market-wide signals (cluster, CEO, CFO), optionally with a dollar floor. After each morning's refresh, one email is sent listing every new open-market purchase that matched. No matches, no email.

Can I get alerted when a specific person buys?

Yes. Any part of a name works and is matched across every company the person files on.

How soon after the filing does the alert arrive?

The morning after the SEC publishes it. Form 4 filings are public by about 10 pm Eastern; the alert goes out with the next morning's refresh.

Is there a limit on watched tickers?

No practical limit. Add as many tickers and names as you like; the floor keeps the email short.

What does it cost?

Alerts are included in the $29/month membership alongside the seven tools and the API.
